今天MBA面试，两个训练比较少的英语听力以及小组面试果然不如预期，温丰说道：“英语听力，考官问一个我没有准备的题目，但这个问题却是我工作中的基本事情，我由于没有听清楚，也没有抓住关键词来进行自由发挥，最后像挤牙膏似的，感觉极差。”

“一说到我到GE上班，马上用英文面试我。其实问题也是很simple，但是我临场不够smart，没有采用引、析（述）、总的说话结构，这种说话结构可能用中文是可以了，但是英文还没练过，也没有把局面引到自己的优势上来。”

“另外小组面试，我准备的依然没用，还是考本能的，而我本能的表现自我感觉也不好。”

“本能的缺陷那是没办法，但是有些是可以通过smart转换为优势的，还是准备的不够全面，临场不够smart。今天的表现，我给自己打分是50分。又是一个很悬的分数。”

“小组陈述对我稍微有利，相对于讨论来说，面试官也分明是要我们陈述，而偏偏那几个家伙讨论起来了，而讨论的形势我抢不过他们，后来到他们无话可说时候，我来了一段比较长的表述。总体上，我对自己表现的评价是不大满意的。两个月来，我已经把中文个面变成本能，但是英文面试和小组讨论还远远没有达到，昨天的情况是自己的优势没有发挥，而考察的重点却是我的薄弱地方。小组讨论是我功力的欠缺，而英语面试虽然功力还是不够，但是如果展示自己优势的话，表现还是可以的。”

? Restate the key points in your speech.

? You can also try to leave the audience with something to think about but this is not the primary purpose of the conclusion.

Preparation

? Being well-prepared and practicing is the best way to overe presentation anxiety.

? Go over your outline several times, both silently and out loud.

? Remember the sequence of ideas instead of memorizing word for word.

? Time yourself.

? Cue cards can be helpful but avoid writing your presentation out line by line.

Practice practice practice

? If you\u0027re nervous about presenting, this may be the most important step.

? Try to simulate the space you\u0027ll be presenting in as closely as possible.

? Try to practice in front of an audience.

? If you can\u0027t find an audience, practice in front of a mirror and/or tape record yourself so you can critique your own performance.

? Test any technology you\u0027ll be using.

Finally, delivering your presentation

? Body language plays a huge role in how interested your audience is.

? Eye contact does too. If you\u0027re unfortable with making eye contact, there are ways to fake it.

? Focus on people in the audience who seem like they’re paying attention.

? Pay attention to your tone. Slow your speech at main points and speed it up at other times to keep your audience awake.

? Avoid time filling words like ‘um’ and ‘like’
